DIRECT Project Launches with Successful Kick-Off Meeting in Thessaloniki

The DIRECT – Digital Responsibility Education and Training project officially launched with a productive kick-off meeting held on 19–20 May 2025 in Thessaloniki, Greece. This first transnational gathering marked the beginning of a collaborative journey to promote ethical, inclusive, and responsible digital education across Europe.

The meeting was hosted by the project coordinator, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), and brought together representatives from all 8 partner organisations. The agenda focused on aligning visions, planning activities, and laying the groundwork for building digital responsibility competences through innovative learning pathways, smart skills analytics, and inclusive educational tools.

Over 2 days, the partners explored how to transform the concept of Digital Responsibility into practical educational solutions that reflect the ethical challenges of today’s digital society. Through meaningful exchanges and strategic planning, the team set a strong foundation for the project’s success. The kick-off meeting also highlighted the project’s commitment to empowering both learners and educators with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to navigate the digital world responsibly.
