The DIRECT Project continues to expand its outreach and visibility across Europe through active participation in scientific and professional events. On April 18, 2026, the project was presented at the Panhellenic \/ International Statistics Conference<\/em><\/strong>, a well-established forum bringing together experts from academia, research, and industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation was delivered by the project coordinator, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, during the seminar titled \u201cStatistics and their Use in the Labour Market: From Data to Policy and Practice.\u201d<\/strong><\/em> The session gathered approximately 25 participants, including researchers, mathematicians, and professionals working in the fields of statistics, data analysis, and skills development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within this context, the DIRECT project was introduced to an audience highly relevant to its mission. The presentation outlined the project\u2019s core objectives, with a particular focus on strengthening Digital Responsibility competences and promoting the ethical, responsible use of digital technologies. Emphasis was placed on the importance of equipping individuals and organisations with the skills needed to navigate an increasingly data-driven and technologically complex environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation in events such as this conference plays a key role in the project\u2019s dissemination strategy. It enables the consortium to engage directly with specialised audiences, exchange knowledge, and position Digital Responsibility as a critical component of future skills development. Moreover, it opens opportunities for collaboration with stakeholders who are actively shaping policies and practices related to data, technology, and education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DIRECT project’s consortium extends its appreciation to the team from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for representing the project and contributing to its growing visibility within the scientific and professional community.
