IDEC SA is a consulting and training company, established in 1989 in Piraeus, Greece. We specialize in providing training, management consulting, quality assurance, and digital solutions for both private and public sectors. Our team consists of 35 permanent staff members, along with 10 interns each year, and we regularly partner with about 20 external trainers. We collaborate with over 800 institutes throughout Europe and work with around 300 experts in specific fields.

IDEC consists of 4 departments:

  • Consulting: Our expertise lies in areas such as management consulting, business planning, entrepreneurship, quality management, certification. We offer a wide range of consulting services for companies, e.g. Safety Management Systems (ISO 27001-45001 etc), ESG Reporting, BCP, Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001-21001,22000, HACCP etc), Environmental assessments (ISO 14001-50001 etc).
  • Digital Marketing: IDEC has a team of digital marketing experts. We help businesses create websites, set up online shops, and use tools like search engine and social media marketing to reach more customers and boost sales.
  • Training: As a lifelong training centre, IDEC has experience in EU policies regarding LLL and in particular EQF, ECVET, Europass, EQAVET, validation of non-formal and informal learning and in national reforms of education and training systems. We carry out Seminars for business executives and employees; Training programmes, aimed at teachers and staff of educational organisations; e-learning or blended learning programmes, relating to vocational subjects or the acquisition of basic skills.
  • European affairs

Proyectos

IDEC has extensive experience in European projects, either as coordinator or as partner within different European programs and Initiatives. We have successfully participated in numerous EU projects and are highly experienced in both the operational requirements of such projects and the EU program regulations.

Pericia

IDEC, through its double role, both as educational provider and as management consulting company, has been able to also incorporate best practices from the business sector into the educational, by adjusting them to the spirit of sustainable and accessible education for all. IDEC possesses expertise in e-learning, encompassing course design, the production of learning materials, and the creation of digital content such as videos, animations, and professional graphic design. IDEC actively promotes gender equality, ensuring inclusive participation and equal opportunities for all staff members. Notably, 60% of IDEC employees are women or individuals belonging to the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, women occupy 50% of top management positions. Metaxia Chronopoulou

Project manager

Metaxia Chronopoulou is Managing Director and Vice-President of IDEC S.A. as well as project manager for DIRECT. Holding a BSc in Business Administration and an MSc in Computer Science (UCL), she is an ISO 9001-certified auditor, IS analyst and developer. With leadership on 150+ EU projects, she delivers proven expertise in quality assurance, ICT and vocational training, guiding multinational teams and budgets toward impact.

Natassa Kazantzidou

Natassa Kazantzidou

Investigador

Natassa Kazantzidou is Head of EU Projects at IDEC S.A. and researcher in DIRECT. Holding MScs in Chemical Engineering and Information Systems plus studies in sustainable-development education, she has managed EU projects since 1999. An expert in education policy, quality and curriculum innovation, certified adult trainer and IS developer for SMEs, she guides DIRECT’s quality assurance and learning-outcome validation.

Zoe Batsi

Zoe Batsi

Investigador

Zoe Batsi is an EU project manager and researcher at IDEC driving DIRECT’s innovation and quality pillars. Holding a BSc in International & European Studies and an MSc in Law and Economics of International Trade & Investments, she marries policy insight with business practice. Seasoned in VET and adult education, Erasmus+ and FP programmes, network management and impact evaluation, she will lead outreach, partnership building and evidence-based QA across the project.

Katerina Maniadaki

Katerina Maniadaki

Administrator

Katerina Maniadaki is an EU Project Manager at IDEC S.A. with a BSc in International, European and Regional Studies. After an internship at IDEC and voluntary work in gender-studies archives and Amnesty International, she now manages Erasmus+ projects on digital up-/reskilling, entrepreneurship, inclusion and AI. Fluent in Greek, English and French and holder of two ECDL certificates, she supports DIRECT’s dissemination and training outputs.
