This means replacing a closed, proprietary system with an open-source one that can be modified and checked more easily. This change is <strong>not only about technology<\/strong> but also about how <strong>digital tools are used and managed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the main reasons behind this shift is <strong>\u043f\u0440\u043e\u0437\u0440\u0430\u0447\u043d\u043e\u0441\u0442<\/strong>. Since <strong>Linux<\/strong> is open-source, its code can be reviewed by anyone with the right knowledge and makes it easier to verify how systems work which can help build trust. At the same time, it supports a more <strong>open and fair approach<\/strong> to technology. Another important factor is <strong>sustainability<\/strong>. <strong>Linux<\/strong> can run on older computers without major performance issues, which means devices don\u2019t have to be replaced as often. As a result, <strong>electronic waste is reduced<\/strong> which is very important as concerns about the environmental impact of technology grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Securit<\/strong>y also plays a role. By using <strong>Linux<\/strong>, organizations can have more direct control over their systems and data. This can make it <strong>easier to manage risks<\/strong> and comply with data protection rules and allows for <strong>more flexibility<\/strong> in how security measures are implemented. Finally, using <strong>open-source software<\/strong> makes it easier for public institutions to explain how their digital services function. This can improve accountability and help citizens better understand how their data is handled.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>France\u2019s move shows how digital systems can be designed to be <strong>more transparent<\/strong>, <strong>sustainable<\/strong>, <strong>secure<\/strong>\u0438 <strong>inclusive<\/strong>.
